This is your chance to join a winning team. Motor Coach Industries (MCI), an industry leader in Charter and Luxury Touring Coaches, is seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our Louisville, KY team.

The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for day to day inbound quality assurance activities, which primarily include the review/audit of parts (returned and new receipts) and insuring parts meet/exceed all applicable standards. This position will also be responsible for completing Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Activity reporting including operational productivity, compliance, inventory and operational KIP performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review of non-conforming/defective products on warranty claims, inbound shipments from sites to determine root cause. Maintain corresponding reports and measures to show improvement/erosion
  • Assist in implementing supplier corrective action plan for non-conforming product received in service parts warehouse locations.
  • Advise MCI locations of preferred disposition (rework, return to supplier, scrap, etc.)
  • Maintain RGA (Return Good Authorization) compliance by inspecting questionable returns and determining appropriate disposition (credit, scrap, return to customer, etc.)
  • Contributes toward the identification of areas of opportunity for supplier improvement, inventory accuracy and increased customer satisfaction
  • Complete Daily, Weekly and monthly compliance, inventory and operational reporting including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations to Management
  • Release daily orders and kitting work orders including sorting and consolidation

Educational / Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Bachelors Degree or Comparable Experience
  • 3+ Years of related experience/training in an automotive technical environment with emphasis in quality or engineering preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including high proficiencies in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9000 or Six Sigma
  • Previous AS/400 experience preferred
